Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Ophthalmologist role based in Bilaspur. The Ophthalmologist will perform routine and specialized eye examinations, diagnose ocular diseases and conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include prescribing medications, performing minor procedures in the clinic, and conducting surgical interventions as required. The role involves interpreting diagnostic tests, managing pre- and post-operative care, and collaborating with optometrists, nurses, and other clinical staff. The Ophthalmologist will also provide patient education, maintain accurate medical records, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and support hospital protocols and standards of care.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in clinical Medicine and specialization in Ophthalmology,



with the ability to diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of eye conditions.
- Proficiency in Optometry-related assessments, including refraction, vision testing, and prescribing corrective lenses when necessary.
- Experience with Ophthalmic Laser procedures, including protected operation of laser equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Competence in Ophthalmic Surgery, including cataract and other anterior or posterior segment surgeries, with sound knowledge of surgical techniques and post-operative care.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed residency or postgraduate training in Ophthalmology; valid medical registration/license as required by local regulations.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and colleagues.
- Willingness to work in an on-site hospital environment, contribute to emergency eye care when needed, and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Prior experience in a dedicated eye hospital or eye care center is an advantage, as is familiarity with modern ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical equipment.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
