Job Title: RO Plant Operator

Job Summary

The RO Plant Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment system to ensure a continuous supply of purified water that meets food safety and quality standards. The operator ensures productive plant performance, records operational data, and follows all safety and hygiene procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor RO water treatment systems, softeners, filters, and associated equipment.
- Conduct routine checks on pumps, pressure gauges, membranes, and pipelines.
- Monitor water quality parameters such as TDS, pH, conductivity, and flow rate.
- Perform membrane cleaning, backwashing, and chemical dosing as per SOPs.
- Maintain daily logbooks and operational records.
- Identify equipment malfunctions and report maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and company policies.
- Monitor chemical consumption and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Assist in preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the RO plant area.
- Follow all environmental, health,



and safety regulations.

Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience operating RO systems, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Knowledge of water treatment processes and water quality testing.
- Basic understanding of pumps, valves, motors, and instrumentation.

Skills Required

- Trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of RO plant operations and maintenance.
- Ability to maintain operational records and reports.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Working Conditions

- Rotational shifts may be required.
- Exposure to industrial equipment and water treatment chemicals.
- Must follow PPE and food safety requirements at all times.

- Water quality compliance.
- Reduction in downtime and maintenance issues.
- Accurate record keeping and reporting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
