Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Purchase & Marketing Executive with 2–5 years of experience, preferably from the Metal / Steel / Manufacturing Industry. The candidate will be responsible for purchase activities, vendor coordination, material sourcing, price negotiation, market development and customer coordination.

Key Responsibilities – Purchase

- Source and procure raw materials, metal products, consumables and other required materials.
- Identify, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers/vendors.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, quality and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts and Management for purchase requirements.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details and related documentation.
- Monitor pending orders and resolve supply-related issues.
- Check material rates and support cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities – Marketing

- Identify potential customers and generate current business opportunities.
- Coordinate with existing and prospective customers.




- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product information.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations and orders.
- Conduct market research to understand current prices, competitors and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the internal team for timely order execution and customer requirements.
- Prepare regular sales/marketing reports and MIS.

Required Skills

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Metal / Steel / Manufacturing Industry.
- Strong knowledge of purchase and procurement processes.
- Good vendor development and vendor management skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of quotation comparison and Purchase Orders.
- Good market knowledge and customer-handling ability.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and ERP/Purchase Software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates having experience in Metal, Steel, Aluminium, Fabrication, Engineering or Manufacturing Industry will be preferred.
