Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled Maintenance / Safety Engineer to manage maintenance activities, ensure the smooth functioning of equipment and facilities, and maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for machinery, equipment, and utilities.
- Identify equipment faults and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, service records, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor the availability of critical spare parts and maintenance materials.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, electrical systems, utilities, and other facilities.
- Identify recurring equipment issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure maintenance activities are carried out as per required safety standards.

Safety Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with applicable safety rules, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
- Implement corrective actions for identified safety observations and hazards.
- Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for employees, contract workers, and visitors.




- Ensure proper usage of PPE and monitor compliance with safety procedures.
- Assist in emergency preparedness, fire safety, evacuation drills, and mock drills.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports with corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, and other required documentation.
- Support risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety audits.
- Coordinate with management and relevant departments to improve workplace safety.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Safety Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Relevant certification in Industrial Safety / Occupational Health & Safety will be an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in maintenance and/or industrial safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and statutory requirements.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
