OFF-ROLE SAFETY OFFICER FOR FACTORY

MANDATORY QUALIFICATION

Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) is mandatory.

Candidates without an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) will not be considered.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline will be an added advantage.

Relevant Safety, EHS, Industrial Safety or Occupational Health and Safety certifications will be preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Off-Role Safety Officer with strong exposure to factory, manufacturing, industrial or plant environments. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements, conducting inspections and audits, managing risks, supporting corrective actions and providing safety and quality training to employees and contractors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring the implementation of Quality guidelines at various phase of Projects Execution.

Incoming Inspection for Wind Turbine and BOP Components at Site.

Monitoring, updating, review and auditing of the Company Quality Systems.

Assists the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Quality at work.

Handling customer due diligence related to Quality at Senvion.

Conduct process audits both internal and external.

Take part in non-conformity management and carry out analysis of root causes, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.

Carries out Quality audits on Sub-contractors.

Performs Risk Assessment and suggests solutions for handling Quality related issues based on own knowledge.

Imparting training to internal and external stakeholders including sub-contractor personnel on Quality practices.





Taking care of Projects Quality documentation and sharing same within time with all the stakeholders including sales, projects, customers and subcontractors.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Relevant experience in Industrial Safety, EHS, HSE, Quality or Occupational Safety within a factory, manufacturing plant, industrial facility or production environment.

Robust knowledge of industrial safety practices, workplace safety procedures and statutory safety requirements.

Experience in conducting safety inspections, internal audits, process audits and risk assessments in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Experience in handling contractors and subcontractor personnel.

Knowledge of incident prevention, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.

Ability to identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.

Experience in conducting safety awareness programs, toolbox talks and training for employees and contract workers.

Good understanding of safety and quality documentation, reporting and compliance requirements.

Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Operations and other functional teams.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Candidates with hands-on experience in factories, manufacturing units, industrial plants, engineering industries, heavy industries, renewable energy manufacturing or similar industrial environments will be preferred.

ADIS qualification is mandatory for this position.

Pay: ₹12,216.72 - ₹44,000.00 per month
