Job Type: Fulltime

Schedule: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday (flexible as per operational requirement)

Salary: ₹40,000 per month, fixed, plus performancebased incentives

About the Role

A wellestablished firm in the architecture and interior design sector is hiring an Interior Design Architect with handson experience in modular furniture systems and residential or commercial space planning. The role covers the full project cycle, from initial client brief and concept development through to site execution and handover. The candidate will manage client communication, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate with vendors and site teams to deliver projects on schedule and to specification. This is a fulltime, onsite position based at the firm's Dindoli, Surat office.

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Space Planning
- Develop interior design concepts and detailed space plans for residential, commercial, and office projects
- Prepare modular furniture layouts for kitchens, wardrobes, and office workspaces
- Produce drawings, 3D visualisations, and presentation material for client approvals

Technical Documentation

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and itemised quotations accurately and within agreed timelines
- Maintain quantity sheets and revise documentation in response to client or site changes
- Ensure all drawings and specifications meet applicable standards and project requirements

Client Management

- Conduct client meetings to understand briefs, present design proposals, and obtain signoff




- Manage revision cycles professionally and keep clients informed of project progress
- Address client queries regarding design choices, material selection, and timelines

Site Supervision & Vendor Coordination

- Supervise site execution to ensure work aligns with approved drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for material procurement and timely delivery
- Monitor project timelines, flag deviations early, and implement corrective action

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure finished work meets quality benchmarks agreed with the client
- Verify that materials and workmanship comply with project specifications throughout execution

Required Skills

- Interior design and space planning, with specific knowledge of modular furniture systems for kitchens, wardrobes, and office environments
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Autodesk AutoCAD) for 2D drafting and technical drawing production
- Proficiency in SketchUp (Trimble SketchUp) for 3D modelling and client presentations
- BOQ preparation and quotation drafting with accuracy in quantity takeoff
- Client communication and meeting management across concept, design, and execution stages
- Site supervision with the ability to read and interpret working drawings onsite
- Vendor and contractor coordination, including followup on delivery schedules and quality checks

Qualification

- Candidates must hold one of the following:
- Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)




- Bachelor of Interior Design (B.ID or B.Des in Interior Design)
- Diploma in Interior Design or Interior Decoration (minimum threeyear programme)
- Any equivalent degree or diploma in architecture or interior design from a recognised institution

Experience

- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in interior design or architecture practice is mandatory.
- Candidates with 4 to 6 years of experience, particularly those who have handled modular furniture projects and managed client relationships independently, will be preferred.
- Exposure to site supervision and BOQ preparation is required; prior experience with residential kitchen, wardrobe, or office fitout projects is an advantage.
