Job Description – Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong knowledge of IT project management and data privacy/compliance. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering privacy and technology projects while working closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, and deliver IT and privacy-related projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with technical, privacy, compliance, and business teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Track project progress and provide regular status reports to management.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and drive timely resolution.
- Conduct project meetings, prepare MOMs, and track action items.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support implementation of privacy, data protection, and compliance solutions.
- Work with teams on privacy-related activities such as GDPR, DPDP Act, ROPA, DPIA, data mapping, privacy assessments, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate UAT, implementation, deployment, and post-implementation activities.




- Ensure projects follow organizational processes, quality standards, and client requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5–7 years of experience in IT Project Management.
- Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle and project delivery methodologies.
- Working knowledge of data privacy and protection concepts.
- Positive understanding of GDPR, DPDP Act, ROPA, DPIA, and privacy compliance.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.

Preferred

- Experience in Privacy Management, GRC, Cybersecurity, Risk, or Compliance projects.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or similar will be an advantage.
- Experience working with SaaS products or enterprise technology implementations.
