About the Role

We are looking for a professional and experienced Fashion Cum Dress Designer / Faculty to join our institute in Yamuna Vihar, Delhi.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of fashion designing, garment construction, dress designing, pattern making, stitching, and fashion illustration, along with the ability to effectively train and guide students.

Candidates who are based in or around Yamuna Vihar, Bhajanpura, Shahdara, Gokulpuri, Maujpur, Seelampur, Karawal Nagar, or nearby areas will be preferred for convenient commuting.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct practical and theory classes in Fashion Designing and Dress Designing.
- Teach students garment construction, stitching, cutting, pattern making, and finishing techniques.
- Train students in designing different types of dresses, ethnic wear, western wear, and contemporary garments.
- Teach fashion illustration, basic design concepts, colour combinations, and fabric selection.
- Demonstrate professional sewing and garment-making techniques.
- Guide students in developing their own designs and fashion projects.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical assignments, and project work.
- Evaluate students' practical work, assignments, and overall progress.




- Maintain a professional and disciplined classroom environment.
- Keep students updated with current fashion trends and industry practices.
- Assist the institute in exhibitions, fashion shows, student projects, and other academic activities.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Fashion Designing and Dress Designing.
- Excellent practical skills in cutting, stitching, pattern making, and garment construction.
- Good understanding of fabrics, textiles, measurements, and garment finishing.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to explain practical concepts clearly and patiently.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Skilled attitude and punctuality.

Educational Qualification

- Relevant teaching or industry experience will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- 2+ years of relevant experience in fashion designing, dress designing, garment production, or teaching.
- Candidates currently living near Yamuna Vihar, Delhi are preferred.
- Candidates with both industry experience and teaching experience are especially encouraged to apply.
