Cybersecurity Lead

## About the Role

- Oversee and strengthen the organization//'s cybersecurity ecosystem by safeguarding information assets, monitoring security risks, ensuring compliance with security standards, and driving cyber resilience across the organization.

## Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and assess cybersecurity risks across systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
- Conduct periodic security reviews, risk assessments, and control evaluations.
- Maintain and update cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Oversee security monitoring tools and incident detection mechanisms.
- Investigate security alerts, suspicious activities, and potential breaches.
- Coordinate incident response activities and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain incident logs and post-incident review documentation.
- Create a security layer to cover AI access through LLM’s.
- Ensure adherence to internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support cybersecurity audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Track remediation of audit observations and security gaps.
- Maintain cybersecurity governance reports and dashboards.
- Review security controls across networks, servers, endpoints, cloud environments,



and applications.
- Collaborate with technology teams to implement security best practices.
- Evaluate security implications of current systems, projects, and technology initiatives.
- Prepare periodic cybersecurity reports for management.
- Track key cybersecurity metrics and risk indicators.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements to strengthen organizational cyber resilience.
- Drive cybersecurity awareness initiatives across the organization.
- Conduct employee awareness sessions on cyber threats, phishing, data protection, and information security practices.

## Requirements

- Bachelor//'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and security controls.
- Knowledge of network security, cloud security, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Ability to work across functions and drive security initiatives independently.
