Job Opening: Video Editor

Location: Mangaluru (Onsite Only)

Position: Full Time

Salary: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month, based on evaluation

Joining Date: 1st October 2026 (candidates who can join immediately will be preferred)

About Kamath Solutions

Kamath Solutions is a brand strategy and marketing agency based in Mangaluru. We work with a select set of clients across fitness, hospitality, aesthetics and consumer brands. We are in the middle of rebranding ourselves at the moment, so there is not much to see online yet. Whoever joins will be part of that work, which means some of your first edits could be for our own brand.

About the Role

We are hiring a Video Editor to join our team. The work is mainly short form video for social media, including reels, talking head videos with motion graphics and service, lifestyle and product content. You will own the video output for a set of clients and take projects from raw footage to final files, working directly with the founder and alongside our videographer.

Key Responsibilities

- Editing short form video for Instagram and other social platforms, at a steady weekly output
- Creating talking head videos with motion graphics, captions and text animation
- Editing service, lifestyle and product reels that match each client's brand style
- Colour correction, sound cleanup and music selection
- Keeping footage, project files and templates organised for each client




- Handling client revisions and delivering on time
- Contributing to our own rebranding, including video content for our channels

What We Are Looking For

- At least 2 years of professional video editing experience, ideally with short form social content
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects
- A showreel or portfolio that includes at least one or two pieces with motion graphics you have made yourself
- A good sense of pacing, hooks and what keeps people watching on Instagram
- Ability to handle several clients at once and keep to deadlines without being chased
- Nice to have: basic photo retouching in Lightroom or Photoshop and the ability to shoot simple phone content when needed

Additional Information

- Working days: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a lunch break from 1:00 to 2:00 PM
