Summary DescriptionThe Content Designer ( Math) applies subject matter knowledge and instructional design principles to develop and revise digital instructional materials and supporting materials. The materials created range from writing manuscripts to creating videos.Essential Job Functions
- Understand and apply educational research, pedagogy, subject matter expertise, and instructional design principles to create instructional videos.
- Review product features against guidelines for consistency in curriculum design.
- Make sure activity design has adequate white space and hierarchy to clearly display content.
- Collaborate with Content Producer Lead to plan and execute on project workflow and schedules.
- Work with Content Producer Lead to create consistency in design of the product.
- Produce high quality work to schedule.
- Support the discovery and integration of AI tools and technologies to enhance our creative processes, drive efficiency and optimize workflows
- Ability to multi-task and meet the needs of recent projects that arise.
- Other duties as required.Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, or Design and 5 years of Curriculum Development,



educational publishing, or instructional design experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of work experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
- 3+ years of work experience with Curriculum DevelopmentTechnical Skills
- Classroom teaching experience either online or in-person and knowledge of online learning activities and the education market preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills, and desire to learn new tools for producing content.
- Skilled in PowerPoint and specifically animations and templates.
- Ability to support learning through content design.Competencies
