About The Role

Turing is hiring a Principal GenAI Engineer to spearhead enterprise-scale AI implementations for our high-profile clients. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, production-grade Generative AI (GenAI) systems powered by large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures. You will operate at the intersection of backend and full-stack engineering, applying your expertise to build reliable, high-performance systems that seamlessly integrate LLM capabilities into real-world applications.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead innovative projects that influence enterprise AI adoption, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, with extensive experience in backend or full-stack development. A minimum of 8-14 years in the industry, with at least 2 years dedicated to hands-on work with LLMs, RAG,



and agent-based systems, is required. Proficiency in Python is essential, along with solid experience in building and maintaining production-grade distributed systems.

Candidates should have a deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, and practical experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar. Familiarity with deploying systems on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is necessary. Additionally, expertise in APIs, microservices architecture, vector databases (such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS), and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable. Solid problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Principal GenAI Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include designing and building scalable GenAI applications utilizing LLMs and RAG pipelines. You will develop and optimize backend services and APIs to support AI-powered systems, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and scalable for enterprise deployment. Building and deploying agent-based workflows and orchestration systems will be a key part of your role, enabling complex AI interactions and automation.

You will work on integrating LLMs into various enterprise applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security in production environments. Collaborating with product managers,



data scientists, and engineering teams will be essential to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet client needs. Additionally, you will implement monitoring, evaluation, and safety guardrails to maintain the integrity and ethical standards of AI systems.
