- We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator DBA with 2 to 3 years of experience in managing monitoring and maintaining Oracle database environments
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database availability performance security backup recovery and supporting business critical applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monitor and maintain Oracle database environments to ensure high availability performance and reliability
- Perform database backup recovery patching upgrades and disaster recovery activities using RMAN Data Guard and related tools
- Troubleshoot database issues optimize SQL queries and conduct performance tuning to improve system efficiency
- Administer database security user access and support application teams with database migrations refreshes and production support activities
Technical Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of hands on experience as an Oracle DBA
- Solid knowledge of Oracle Database 11g 12c 19c or higher versions
- Experience with Oracle RAC ASM Data Guard and RMAN
- Proficiency in SQL PL SQL and performance tuning
- Experience in backup and recovery strategies
- Knowledge of database monitoring and troubleshooting techniques
- Understanding of Linux Unix operating systems
- Familiarity with shell scripting and automation
- Experience with database security and user management
Additional Responsibilities:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI
- Knowledge of GoldenGate replication
- Familiarity with Ansible or automation tools
- Exposure to DevOps CI CD and cloud database services
- Oracle DBA Certification is a plus
