Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager – Electrical Design to join our growing Data Centre Business Unit. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for leading the electrical design and engineering of complex, high-availability infrastructure projects — playing a key part in shaping the future of our critical power systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end electrical design and engineering for Data Centre projects, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with client requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure timely, safe, and quality delivery.
- Manage and support the operations and maintenance of critical electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Design and engineer MV/LV systems, including transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, PCC/MCC panels, busducts, and power distribution networks.
- Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting, preventive,



and corrective maintenance activities to maintain system reliability.
- Ensure the highest standards of reliability, safety, and operational readiness across all electrical infrastructure.
- Maintain strict compliance with national and international electrical safety standards (e.g., IEEE, NFPA, IEC) and Data Centre best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and engineering — with proven experience in Data Centre projects.
- Strong technical background in the design, installation, and operation & maintenance (O&M;) of critical electrical systems.
- Deep familiarity with MV/LV systems, including transformers, DG sets, UPS, PCC/MCC panels, busducts, and power distribution architectures.
- Proven ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, EPC contractors, vendors, and site execution teams.
- Experience in commissioning, commissioning support, and ongoing maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and safety-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — essential for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
