SCADA Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SCADA Software Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Selenium WebDriver Automation, API Testing and SCADA systems. The candidate will be responsible for test-case design, test execution, automation, defect retesting and test documentation for SCADAvantage applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand software requirements and perform requirement analysis.
- Participate in Knowledge Transfer (KT) and understand the existing SCADA applications.
- Design and develop test cases, test scripts and test data.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing.
- Perform API testing using appropriate API testing tools.
- Develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Perform test execution, defect identification, logging and bug retesting/regression testing.
- Maintain test environments and support test setup activities.
- Test SCADAvantage applications including Operations Portal, Configuration Portal, Wellhead Manager (WHM) and SCADA applications.
- Prepare and maintain test reports,



test results and other testing documentation.
- Log and track defects/findings in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Participate in sprint-wise testing and application maintenance activities.
- Provide weekly/monthly testing progress updates.
- Work independently as an Individual Contributor.

Domain Experience

- Robust experience in SCADA / Industrial Automation applications.
- Oil & Gas domain knowledge is required.
- SCADA commissioning experience is important.
