What You'll Do:

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architectures.
- Define and implement technical strategies aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Architect modernization initiatives including cloud migration, application transformation, and platform upgrades.
- Design target-state architectures for transformation programs such as PCF to GCP, COBOL to Java, and IBM MQ to Kafka migrations.
- Drive implementation of event-driven architectures and distributed systems utilizing Kafka and modern messaging frameworks.
- Solve complex technical challenges involving application scalability, resiliency, security, and performance.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, architecture guidelines, and quality frameworks.
- Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical governance activities.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals.
- Drive AI-assisted engineering initiatives and establish AI-driven software development lifecycle standards.
- Define and implement application integration strategies across enterprise platforms.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development teams across multiple projects.
- Support engineering productivity initiatives leveraging GitHub Copilot, automation frameworks, and modern development tools.
- Own project planning, estimation, staffing, resource allocation, and delivery governance.
- Manage project health metrics, KPIs,



risk management, and delivery status reporting.
- Drive business continuity planning, resource forecasting, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Engage with client stakeholders and leadership teams to ensure successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Support release management, deployment strategies, and production readiness activities.
- Establish frameworks for continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 12 to 14 years of experience in software engineering, application architecture, and enterprise solution delivery.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and distributed system architecture.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Experience with cloud-native application development and modernization initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud transformation programs.
- Proven ability to architect large-scale migration programs including legacy modernization initiatives.
- Experience working with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, or Cloud Run.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, messaging systems, and resilient architectures.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and enterprise database technologies.
- Knowledge of Maven, GitHub, Git-based workflows, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps engineering practices.
- Understanding of AI-enabled software development lifecycle (AIDLC) practices.




- Experience defining reference architectures and technology roadmaps.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, domain-driven design, and architecture best practices.
- Experience with SonarQube and code quality governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to mentor teams and drive engineering excellence across multiple workstreams.
- Proven experience in project governance, estimation, planning, risk management, and delivery management.
