Hiring: Senior Manager, Legal (Commercial Contracts) | 7-10 Years | Bangalore

A leading global organisation is looking for a Senior Manager, Legal to lead its contracts function and oversee all commercial contracting activity, while advising management and business teams on legal and regulatory matters.

What you'll do

- Lead the contracts function: draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial, vendor, service, bilateral/tripartite, JV, lease, sale and loan agreements
- Support business functions on HR, real estate (leases, title due diligence), facilities and administration contracts
- Monitor contractual obligations and flag and mitigate risks from deviations, non-compliance or breaches
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and statutory requirements, including labour laws,



and liaise with government authorities
- Advise management on corporate, commercial, employment and regulatory matters, and work with external counsel

What we're looking for

- LLB or equivalent (a postgraduate law degree is a plus)
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation
- 5+ years of working with external legal consultants and advocates
- 4+ years of leading a team
- Solid working knowledge of labour law compliances; experience with dynamic employment types is an added advantage
