- Responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring of EPC/EPCM construction projects using tools like Primavera/MS Project.
- Develop, review and update Level III (overall) and Level IV (detailed) construction schedules for various project phases and critical activities.
- Preparation and structuring of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) aligned with project scope and execution strategy.
- Preparation, review and monitoring of S-Curves for tracking planned vs actual progress.
- Monitor contractor progress, identify delays/deficiencies and communicate through formal reports.
- Prepare periodic progress reports (daily/weekly/monthly), dashboards and MIS reports for management and client.
- Finalize progress reporting formats in coordination with client as per contractual requirements.
- Conduct look-ahead planning (2-week/4-week) for effective execution and constraint removal.
- Participate in project review meetings; prepare presentations, progress summaries and minutes of meetings (MOM).
Requirements
- Qualification – Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) or Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience
- Experience in planning & scheduling for Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequences, activity durations and resource planning for multidisciplinary works
- Proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of WBS, S-Curves, critical path method (CPM) and progress measurement systems
- Familiarity with contract requirements, progress reporting systems and project control practices
- Strong analytical skills for schedule analysis, delay identification and mitigation planning
- Good communication, coordination and reporting skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, client, contractors)
