Job DescriptionAs a VMware Operations & Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the day‐to‐day administration, support, maintenance, and optimisation of enterprise virtualisation platforms. You will ensure the availability, performance, security, and compliance of VMware infrastructure, supporting mission‐critical business applications across production, DR, and UAT environments.
NWhat You'll Do and How You'll Succeed
NVMware Infrastructure Operations

- Administer and support VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments. N
- Manage VMware clusters,HA, DRS, vMotion, and Storage vMotion. N
- Perform VM provisioning, decommissioning, and lifecycle management. N
- Monitor and optimise platform performance and capacity. N
- Conduct routine health checks and preventive maintenance. N

nVMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)

- Operate and support VMware Cloud Foundation environments. N
- Manage SDDC‐Manager, Management Domain, and Workload Domains. N
- Perform lifecycle management including patching, upgrades, and compliance remediation. N




- Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, and network layers. N

nStorage & Hyperconverged Infrastructure

- Support Dell VxRail and vSAN environments. N
- Manage storage capacity, performance, and availability. N
- Coordinate hardware maintenance and firmware upgrades. N
- Work with vendors for incident resolution and hardware replacement. N

nIncident & ProblemManagement

- Provide L2/L3 support for virtualisation incidents. N
- Troubleshoot ESXi hosts, vCenter, VM performance, and infrastructure issues. N
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes. N
- Participate in major incident and disaster recovery activities. N
