The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager - Backend to lead and scale one of Snabbit’s core backend engineering teams.

This is a leadership role with a strong technical foundation. You’ll be responsible for building a high-performing engineering team, driving execution across critical backend systems, and ensuring our technology scales reliably as Snabbit grows. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering leadership to translate business problems into simple, scalable technical solutions.





What You’ll Do
- Lead the team → Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing backend engineering team. Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and help engineers grow in their careers.
- Own execution → Drive end-to-end delivery of critical engineering initiatives, from problem definition and technical planning through execution and production.
- Raise the technical bar → Ensure robust engineering practices across system design, code quality, testing, observability, reliability, and performance.
- Solve for scale → Design and evolve backend systems that are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficient as Snabbit grows significantly.
- Partner cross-functionally → Work closely with Product, Design, Data, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
