Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities
Job Description:
- The In-Process Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing in-process quality assurance activities throughout the lithium-ion cell manufacturing process. The role ensures adherence to quality standards, drives defect reduction initiatives,



leads quality investigations, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve process capability, yield, and product reliability.

Position Overview:
The IPQA Manager will lead the quality team responsible for monitoring and controlling manufacturing quality at all stages of cell production. The position focuses on maintaining robust quality systems, ensuring process compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence within the Gigafactory.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Quality Management:
- Ensure effective in-process quality control across Mixing, Coating, Calendaring, Slitting, Cell Assembly,Formation, Aging, and Packaging processes.
- Monitor critical process parameters and product quality characteristics.
- Ensure compliance with approved Control Plans, SOPs, and inspection standards.
