Description
Support the Manager by leading the implementation of strategy for global
infrastructure operations and maintenance to ensure availability of stable and
secure systems and networks. This includes identifying problems and presenting
new methodologies/solutions to key stakeholders to enhance and improve the
delivery of infrastructure operations and maintenance services for cloud, on-
premise, server and network infrastructure. Knowledgeable in both technical and
business aspects of the organisation’s IT infrastructure to bridge gaps and
enhance collaboration between IT and functional teams.

Evaluate infrastructure performance against changing business needs and users
requirements and assist with the development/revision of infrastructure blueprint/
roadmap.

Responsibilities
Infrastructure Strategy & Design Implementation
- Assist with development of roadmaps, policies and standards to achieve
desired future state IT infrastructure for the organisation.
- Recommend process, product or service improvements, resource optimisation
and cost savings.




- Partner with stakeholders to define infrastructure operations and maintenance
requirements for current technology implementations.
- Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory
issues.
- Evaluate trends and new technologies in engineering to enhance infrastructure
and orchestration.
- Assist in the design, implementation and execution of back up and disaster
recovery plans for infrastructure.
- Manage exceptions to architectural standards at an infrastructure level.
- Develop communication plans for stakeholders engagement.
Facilitate the evaluation and selection of infrastructure technology and the
design of configuration standards.

Infrastructure & Network Development & Maintenance
- Forecast utilisation patterns and identifies modifications or upgrades.
- Conduct capacity workload modelling and availability analysis for platforms and
environments.
