Role and Responsibilities:

- Works directly with multiple teams to support Alkami's networking products and solutionsn
- Configure on-premises and cloud networking systems for Alkami and provide technical guidance and supportn
- Take ownership of network troubleshooting from beginning to complete resolution and looks to minimize repeat occurrencesn
- Utilizes various troubleshooting tools and techniques, such analysis of log files and packet captures, to determine root cause of an issue or outagen
- Mentors and directs less experienced engineers and other employees in matters of Network Engineering processes and proceduresn
- Ensures continued smooth operation of Alkamis growing network infrastructuren
- Plans and performs systems upgrades, patching, and compliance remediation tasksn
- Maintain and administer various network and systems such as firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancersn




- Keeps monitoring systems and troubleshooting tools in highly available staten
- Works to understand the SaaS model that Alkami uses in application developmentn
- Documents IT activities such as downtime, problems, and systems configurationsn
- Creates and maintains logical and physical network diagrams, and Confluence knowledge base articlesn
- Reviews, verifies, and performs various IT system maintenance tasks such as backups, upgrades, and patchingn
- Provides on-call support during both business and non-business hours as established and in accordance with company's Policies and Proceduresn
- Assists with network infrastructure assessments for potential business acquisitions
Job Requirement : n
- 8+ years network administration and configuration.n
- 6+ years supporting AWS or Microsoft technologiesn
- 5+ years Linux experiencen
- Cisco CCNP and higher or equivalentn
- 4-6 years AWS or Microsoft Cloud design and implementationn
