Description
Weatherford is seeking a purposeful and technically proficient Technical Sales Representative to drive the technical sales and business development of our digital product portfolio across East Asia. This role combines strong Oil & Gas industry knowledge with a solid technical understanding of digital technologies—such as data platforms, analytics, automation, IoT/IIoT, cloud, and edge solutions—to deliver value-based solutions to national oil companies, international operators and independents across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through direct client engagement, solution positioning, product demonstrations and proposal development across upstream, midstream and downstream operations, working closely with country sales teams, product line management and commercial operations in the Asia Geozone.

Responsibilities
- Own the technical sales cycle for the digital portfolio across India, from lead qualification through to contract closure.




- Work closely with the country’s sales and account management teams on lead generation, then progress qualified opportunities to conversion.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for digital software, hardware products, and technology services. Understand customer challenges in production, asset integrity, operations and optimization—and position Weatherford's digital solutions to address these needs.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with key decision-makers, influencers and technical stakeholders across national oil companies, international operators and independents in the territory.
- Develop tailored proposals, presentations and demonstrations in collaboration with technical, product management and commercial operations teams, including tender responses.
