About the Role

nWe are looking for an Accounting Associate – Accounts Payable to support the accounting operations of our U.S.-based company. The role will primarily focus on Accounts Payable, along with supporting general accounting activities.
n

nResponsibilities
n
- n
- Own and manage the Accounts Payable process.n
- Enter, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time.n
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice and payment-related questions.n
- Manage invoice approval workflows and follow up on outstanding approvals.n
- Record monthly journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.n
- Record and properly code transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).n
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.n
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports.n
- Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team and mark invoices as paid when payments are received.n
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and assist with resolving discrepancies.n
- Assist with other accounting and finance activities as needed.n




- Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects.n
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.n

nQualifications
n
- n
- CA qualification, or a strong accounting background is preferred.n
- Candidates who have completed their CA articleship are encouraged to apply.n
- 1–2+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred.n
- Prior experience working with U.S.-based companies is preferred.n
- Good understanding of U.S. accounting practices and Accounts Payable processes.n
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is preferred.n
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and Accounts Payable processes.n
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and working with financial data.n
- Robust attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.n
