Senior Scrum Master

Claims and Operations is looking for a Senior Scrum Master with experience to manage the execution of initiatives supporting our Claims initiatives across our portfolio. The assignment for this role is to support Customer Experience Value Stream within Claims. We are seeking a highly motivated, results oriented individual with robust Agile, technical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of 2 (minimum) Claims agile development teams supporting new capabilities, maintenance, technical upgrades, etc.
- Educate and coach the team in Agile framework, ensuring that the agreed Lean-Agile process is being followed and aligns with The Hartford’s Enterprise Business Delivery Model.




- Acts as a role model for servant leadership.
- Role requires ability to influence and work effectively with key stakeholders and business sponsors in a timely manner.
- Organizes and facilitates ceremonies, identifies improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and quality while mitigating risk, supports and manages backlog health, and plans for future milestone releases.
- Tracks and communicates the overall team progress providing visibility to stakeholders (Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, Sprint Planning, PI Planning, etc.)
- Leads team maturity effort through continuous improvement mindset.
- Serves as a filter to remove impediments to progress as identified by the team.
- Protects the team from outside influences to ensure the team remains focused on Scrum Team priorities.
- Partners with the Product Owner and Product Manager to ensure the backlog items are prioritized based on business value and ready for the team; support
