nAbout the Role
nWe are looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in BigQuery to join our team in Chennai on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and warehousing solutions on Google Cloud Platform, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

nKey Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines on GCPn
- Build and optimize data models and queries in BigQuery for performance and cost efficiencyn
- Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasetsn
- Implement data ingestion frameworks using Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer (Airflow)n
- Develop and manage event-driven workflows using Cloud Functionsn
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirementsn
- Ensure data quality,



integrity, and governance across pipelinesn
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data infrastructuren
- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance on GCPn
- Document data architecture, pipelines, and processesn

- 7–12 years of overall experience in Data Engineeringn
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)n
- Hands-on expertise in:n

- Cloud Composer (Airflow)n
- Dataflown
- Dataprocn
- Pub/Subn
- Cloud Storagen
- Cloud Functionsn
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Java/Scala)n
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT designn
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and performance tuning in BigQueryn
- Good understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practicesn
- Excellent problem-solvin
