The Unit Head for the Defence Channel in the life insurance sector is responsible for driving business operations, sales, and relationship management specifically within military and defense establishments. Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Generation:
- Drive life insurance sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets for the armed forces and defense sectors.
- Develop tailored insurance solutions that cater specifically to the needs of military personnel.

2. Field Outreach & Campaigns:
- Collaborate with Commanding Officers and defense authorities to organize educational seminars and awareness programs about life insurance within military cantonments.
- Execute service camps aimed at providing resources and information related to life insurance benefits to military communities.

3. Relationship Management:
- Foster and maintain solid, trust-based relationships with key clients in the defense sector.




- Act as a liaison between the insurance company and military personnel, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

4. Team Leadership:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated sales team focused on the defense sector, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and objectives.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's expertise in life insurance products.

5. Market Analysis:
- Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities within the life insurance sector related to the defense community.
- Use insights from market analysis to adapt strategies and improve service delivery.

Qualifications:
- Experience in sales and business development within the insurance or financial services industry, preferably with a focus on life insurance.
