There is an immediate opening for a Lead Chemical Engineer in Delhi Engineering Center within Engineering and Projects. This position is an integral part of our global engineering organization and provides a key role in the management of internal resources and transfer of process technology to our customers.

This position is for Lead Chemical Engineer to provide technical leadership for the UOP technologies along with providing Engineering solutions to diverse technical problems. Lead Chemical Engineer will provide technical expertise on Sch A projects, maintain and improve design tools / documentation,



bring in insightful/ innovative approach to advancement of existing technology along with developing new technologies while working closely with R&D; and Technical Services and be involved in supporting Services in trouble shooting efforts that need Engineering expertise. Lead Chemical Engineer will provide mentoring and motivation to enhance the skills of less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the position are as follows:

Job Accountabilities:
- Provide engineering design expertise for a group of related processes or technologies, including being the point of contact in IPL Engg for the design related issues originating related to respective technologies.
- Abide by and communicate changes in technical standards, policies, and procedures within assigned area.
- Provide Process design expertise throughout the duration of Engineering projects, including Proposal phase designs, Basic Engineering for current unit designs & revamps including Post-schedule A.
- Support Sales/Sales Support for tailoring UOP’s offering to ensure that it is aligned with customer expectations and requirements.
