House of Slate is a bespoke luxury furniture brand specializing in premium solidwood furniture. We work closely with homeowners, architects, interior designers, and contractors to create distinctive, high-quality living spaces.
We are looking for an Interior Designer & Business Development Executive who combines creative design ability with strong client-facing and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interior Design & Client Solutions
* Meet clients and understand their lifestyle, functional requirements, preferences and budget.
* Develop furniture and interior concepts based on client requirements.
* Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, mood boards and basic design presentations.
* Create furniture concepts and recommend suitable materials, finishes, fabrics and detailing.




* Coordinate with the design and production teams to convert concepts into manufacturable products.
* Take site measurements and conduct site visits when required.
* Prepare quotations and design proposals in coordination with the commercial team.
* Ensure designs are aligned with House of Slate’s premium brand standards.
2. Business Development & Sales
* Generate new business through direct client meetings, referrals, architects, interior designers, contractors and other professional networks.
* Develop and maintain relationships with architects and interior designers.
* Identify residential and commercial interior projects requiring customized furniture.
* Present House of Slate’s furniture collections, materials, finishes and customization capabilities to prospective clients.
* Conduct showroom and client presentations.
* Follow up on enquiries, quotations and proposals and convert them into confirmed orders.
* Maintain a structured pipeline of leads and prospective projects.
