Job Summary
The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for managing key HR functions at a plant level, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management, and ensuring Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) compliance, where applicable. This role acts as an extension of the HR Manager,
ensuring alignment and execution of priorities, handling complex employee relations issues, training programs, and workforce planning initiatives and serves as a trusted HR partner to employees, supervisors and managers.
What you will be doing
- Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, grievance support, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, OSHA, EPA requirements, CBAs (where applicable), and internal HR policies and processes.
- Oversee workforce planning, partnering with recruiting and leadership to meet staffing needs and support onboarding.
- Drive training and development initiatives, including leadership development, compliance training, job qualification programs, and coaching for supervisors.
