Position Summary:
nFerguson is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and support up-to-date, scalable applications across backend services and frontend user interfaces. This role will contribute to Fergusons ongoing modernization journey while also delivering responsive React based user experiences. You will participate in all aspects of the Software Development lifecycle by supporting existing software development efforts and troubleshooting issues as they occur while also developing new software code across multiple small to medium projects concurrently. Were looking for a team member with a passion to learn new technologies and the ability to produce in a technology-driven environment.
nThe ideal candidate will work closely with product owners, architects, and cross functional engineering teams to deliver high quality, event driven solutions that support critical business capabilities.

- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Reactn




- Modernize legacy integrations transitioning from Java 8 and Apache Camel to Java 17+ Spring Boot (future upgrade to Java 21)n
- Build and expose RESTful APIs supporting internal and external consumersn
- Implement event driven architectures using Azure Service Busn
- Develop and support applications using MongoDB (NoSQL) and related data access patternsn
- Create responsive, user friendly React frontend components following UI and accessibility standardsn
- Use Maven for application builds and dependency managementn
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkinsn
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsn
- Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and securityn
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and support handoff to operations teamsn
- Follow Ferguson SDLC standards, coding best practices, and agile delivery processesn
