About this opportunity

Join Ericsson’s Global Cyber Defense Center (CDC) as a Security Specialist/SOC Analyst, helping detect, investigate, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats. You will work in a 24/7 security operations environment alongside Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, AI, Red Team, and other CDC teams to protect Ericsson from advanced threat actors.

What you will do

Triage and investigate prioritized security alerts, determine true/false positives, and identify malicious activity.

Respond to security incidents, document findings, and escalate advanced threats for containment and remediation.

Use AI-enabled capabilities to automate repetitive tasks and enhance security operations.

Contribute to detection engineering, SOC automation, workflows, and continuous process improvements.

Stay current with evolving threats and technologies through hands-on training, peer collaboration, and continuous learning.

Operate effectively in a 24/7 rotational shift workplace, including weekend coverage from the India team.





The skills you bring

6–14 years of experience in SOC operations, security triage, incident response, and detection engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/ITDR, cloud security, and exposure-management tools; CrowdStrike Falcon experience is preferred.

Broad technical knowledge across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Windows, Linux, networking, and identity, with deep expertise in at least one area.

Strong understanding of threat actor TTPs and the ability to analyze telemetry and logs to validate malicious activity.

A continuous-learning mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a drive to improve security operations.

Ability to remain calm and collaborative during high-severity incidents and periods of elevated SOC activity.

Willingness to work primarily from the office in a 24/7 operational environment.
