This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Specialist based in India.

This role offers the prospect to take ownership of end-to-end procurement for computer hardware, technical parts, and operational supplies in a fast-growing environment. You will manage sourcing activities with a strong focus on China-based vendors and support reliable supply to US operations. The position combines strategic sourcing, hands-on vendor negotiation, inventory forecasting, logistics, and compliance management. You will play a key role in maintaining competitive pricing while avoiding stockouts and unnecessary inventory. Working closely with US-based colleagues, you will coordinate across sourcing, sales, accounting, customs, and logistics functions. This is a detail-driven role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, international supplier relationships, and solving complex procurement challenges.

Accountabilities

Source computer parts, hardware components, warehouse supplies,



and workshop materials while identifying reliable and cost-effective suppliers, particularly in China.

Maintain an accurate master vendor database covering supplier qualifications, legal and compliance information, export documentation, and relationship status.

Build and manage vendor relationships, acting as the primary contact for follow-ups, negotiations, issue resolution, and ongoing supplier performance.

Create and manage RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate pricing, lead times, quality, and commercial terms, and continuously benchmark suppliers against market conditions.

Manage the complete procurement lifecycle through the relevant purchasing systems, from sourcing and quoting through purchasing, customs clearance, shipping, receipt, reconciliation, and payment.
