Role Focus

Teaching, Assessment & Student Academic Progress.

Key Skills Required
- Explain complex Biology concepts clearly and accurately.
- Differentiate teaching according to student ability and diagnose misconceptions.
- Design lesson plans, worksheets, tests and revision material.
- Assess student performance and provide actionable feedback.
- Prepare students for IBDP & IGCSE examinations.
- Strong scientific reasoning, experimental data interpretation and classroom management skills.
- Effective parent communication and use of LMS/academic trackers.

- Cell Biology, Membranes, Transport & Microscopy
- Molecular Biology, Enzymes, Respiration & Photosynthesis
- Genetics, Inheritance, Gene Expression & Biotechnology
- Human Physiology & Homeostasis
- Ecology, Evolution, Biodiversity & Conservation
- Plant Biology
- Experimental Design, Data Analysis & Scientific Evaluation

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related discipline.
- Strong senior-secondary Biology knowledge and excellent English communication.
- Ability to teach through English.
- Prior IBDP/IGCSE teaching experience and IB/Cambridge training preferred.
