What Youll Be Doing (position summary):
nThe Junior Software Development Engineer (SDE) is responsible for owning the complete software development lifecycle for ASG Technologies payment processing systems. This role is critical in driving technical excellence, delivering innovative solutions, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of payment infrastructure. The Junior SDE will collaborate with cross-functional teams, set technical standards, and mentor junior engineers to support the organizations strategic objectives

nHow Youll Succeed (responsibilities):

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the full stack, with an emphasis on backend services and payment processing workflows.n
- Participate in technical design discussions,



contributing ideas and asking questions to deepen understanding of system architecture and business requirements.n
- Implement unit and integration, and end-to-end tests;develop an understanding of end-to-end testing strategies and quality standards.n
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and production monitoring; participate in on-call rotations and incident response.n
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.n
- Contribute to the development of secure, compliant payment processing systems.n
- Support the implementation of transaction monitoring and fraud detection capabilities.n
- Assist in integrating with third-party payment gateways and financial services platforms.n
- Develop awareness of payment industry standards (PCI-DSS, PSD2) and apply security-conscious development practices.n
