Job Description: Quality Engineer

We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining world-class quality systems across the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will lead quality assurance initiatives, drive continuous improvement, reduce customer complaints, and enhance product reliability while working closely with Production, Maintenance, Sales, and R&D; teams.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Robust knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
- Proficient knowledge and practical experience in Quality Tools such as SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, CAPA, and 8D for quality control and problem-solving activities.
- Good understanding of assembly processes, manufacturing engineering, special purpose machines (SPMs), welding, plating, and lean manufacturing practices.




- The candidate must possess the capability to create Quality check sheets and other pertinent documentation.
- Well-versed in Oracle NetSuite or SAP, ISO 9001:2015 standards, and quality management system requirements.
- Lead the Quality Assurance function for Water Treatment Products manufacturing operations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
- Ensure product quality from raw material inspection through in-process quality control to final dispatch.
- Establish and monitor quality KPIs, including rejection rates, customer complaints, first-pass yield, and cost of poor quality.
- Lead investigations into customer complaints, non-conformities, and process deviations using Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure their effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing,
