Help shape the employee experience and future of Altera India

Altera is looking for a strategic, practical, and trusted HR leader to serve as Senior HR Business Partner – India Leader. This is a high-impact country HR role supporting Altera’s India operations across Bangalore and Hyderabad. You will partner closely with India business leaders, global and regional HR colleagues, and specialist COE teams to help Altera attract, develop, engage, and retain exceptional talent. From shaping workforce plans and strengthening leadership capability to navigating complex employee-relations matters, you will help turn business priorities into people strategies that work in the India context. This is an prospect to make a visible difference: you will have the scope to influence how work gets done, how leaders lead, how employees experience Altera, and how global people programs come to life locally.

What you’ll do

Serve as a strategic partner to India leaders
- Advise business leaders on workforce planning, organization design, talent priorities,



performance, employee experience, leadership effectiveness, and organizational change.
- Bring sound judgment, commercial awareness, and a pragmatic India perspective to complex people decisions.
- Anticipate workforce needs and translate business strategy into clear, actionable people priorities.

Build talent and organizational effectiveness
- Lead or support talent reviews, succession planning, retention strategies, career development, engagement, performance management, and manager capability programs.
- Use workforce insights and people analytics to identify trends, focus attention, and measure progress.
- Help leaders create an environment where employees can do their best work, grow their careers, and feel connected to Altera’s mission.
- Strengthen manager confidence and capability in handling day-to-day people matters effectively and consistently.
