Job Description:
The Sr. Network Engineer II is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex, mission-critical network infrastructures that bridge traditional data centers and up-to-date multi-cloud environments. Demanding elite technical depth in architecture, security, and automation, this role ensures the highest levels of reliability and performance—with an active CCIE (or equivalent expert-level credential) strongly preferred as a testament to advanced design and troubleshooting mastery.
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Lead network infrastructure projects, including data center, WAN, LAN, and cloud connectivity initiatives.
- Implement and manage advanced routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN).
- Oversee network security implementations, including firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and zero-trust principles.
- Develop and manage automation workflows for network provisioning, configuration,



and monitoring using infrastructure-as-code and modern scripting methodologies.
- Optimize network performance, capacity planning, and reliability.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical network incidents in high-availability environments.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Security, Systems, Cloud, DevOps) to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to the network architecture.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
