Job Description - AVEVA SCADA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AVEVA SCADA Engineer to design, develop, configure, and support industrial automation and SCADA systems. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA InTouch HMI, Historian, OPC communications, and OT applications, with experience in manufacturing or process automation environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable and maintainable SCADA architectures using AVEVA System Platform and AVEVA InTouch HMI.
- Develop object-based architectures, templates, standards, tag databases, alarms, historian points, trends, and reports.
- Configure scripting, object templates, and process logic based on industry standards.
- Define system topology, redundancy strategies, and data flow architecture.
- Develop and configure InTouch HMI applications as per project and client requirements.
- Integrate industrial communication protocols such as OPC DA/UA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, and other control system interfaces.




- Implement MES/ERP integrations and database connectivity solutions.
- Configure and maintain AVEVA Historian, SQL queries, and data logging systems.
- Diagnose and resolve communication issues, data inconsistencies, and performance-related challenges.
- Provide control system design, plant engineering support, and automation site support.
- Monitor system performance, optimize production line throughput, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support system patching, backups, redundancy management, and disaster recovery planning for OT applications.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, project execution, documentation, and status reporting activities.
