What Youll Be Doing (position summary):
nThe Application Consultant is responsible for leading the planning, technical design, development, and integration of complex, enterprise-scale applications within the Finance Technology team. This role assembles, implements, and maintains flexible and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience, while ensuring alignment with CIBCs digital transformation strategy and business objectives.

nHow Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
nDesign and Development:

- Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities to deliver robust scalable solutions.n
- Design technical infrastructure using appropriate databases programming languages utilities and testing methodologies.n
- Lead the design and development of cost-effective and creative applications that meet business needs.n





nStrategic Planning:

- n
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with the banks vision strategy and business goals.n
- Lead multiple complex projects involving backend systems new technology adoption and enhancement of existing applications.n

nLeadership:

- n
- Act as the development team lead running code-review sessions to ensure project milestones and goals are met.n
- Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge collaborating and facilitating problem-solving.n

nExperience: 5 + years of experience
nWho You Are (skills/qualifications):
nMust Have Skills:
n
- n
- Minimum 3 years experience in Databricks, Azure Data Factory,Informatica, Oracle DB, Cloud technologies (Azure), Python, CI/CD, GITHUB, Batch Job Scheduler. (Preferably Autosys), SFTP File transfers tools.n
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and structured Software D
