ABOUT THE ROLE
The Engineering Project Controls Cost Management role will be based in AIN and will be part of the Project Controls organization within Amgen Engineering. This role will support the Cost Management Continuous Improvement tower by delivering cost management services across global capital projects.
This role will support cost management centralized tasks across global projects from the AIN capability center. The Engineering Project Controls Cost Management role will be responsible for service delivery, SAP-enabled process discipline, continuous improvement,



and standardization to improve quality, productivity, cost visibility, predictability and execution support across the global capital projects.
The role will help strengthen compliance to established project controls, finance, and Source-to-Pay processes, while maintaining audit-ready data, documentation, and reporting discipline that supports cost predictability and visibility.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Cost Management and Controls
- Understand cost management requirements from funding through project closeout, ensuring compliance with applicable processes, policies, and governance expectations.
- Support cost management for global capital projects, including cost reporting, forecasting, commitments, actuals, accruals, change tracking, budget tracking, variance analysis, and closeout support.
- Review and analyze scopes of work, engineering estimates, and contractor bids to support informed project decisions.
