As a Java Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Java web applications that support business transaction and reporting needs. You will collaborate with team members to determine design specifications, participate in code reviews, and contribute to internal infrastructure and process improvements. Your role will require solid technical competency, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in an environment that values quality, commitment, growth, and innovation. You will also assist with production problem resolution as needed, including occasional off-hour support.Application & API Development:
- Develop Java web applications and RESTful APIs, performing technical design, code development, documentation, and test plan generation.
- Design and implement solutions following microservices architecture and established design patterns (e.g., Dependency Injection, Repository pattern).
- Maintain a sustained track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.





Cloud-Native Development & DevOps:
- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (primary) and Microsoft Azure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

Application Security:
- Follow secure coding practices to protect against common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, including SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF).
- Implement authentication and authorization using industry standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
- Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities in application dependencies and third-party packages.
- Support compliance and data protection requirements applicable to the application.

Data Management:
- Store, retrieve, and manipulate data related to web applications for transactions and reporting.
- Design database schemas and optimize queries for performance
