Description
As Architect, DevOps, you'll lead the technical vision and architectural design of DevOps platforms across the Icertis engineering ecosystem. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in building secure, scalable, and automated DevOps solutions, while collaborating across Product Engineering, CloudOps, SRE, and IT teams to ensure continuous delivery excellence.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Own the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade DevOps automation, tooling, and platform architecture across the full application lifecycle.
- Craft secure, scalable, and maintainable DevOps solutions, enabling product teams to self-service setting provisioning, builds, and deployments.
- Define architectural standards and best practices for DevOps toolchains including GitOps and Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TFS pipelines.
- Architect robust infrastructure templates and provisioning patterns using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates.
- Enable lifecycle management of container workloads using Kubernetes, Docker,
and Helm ensuring scalable deployments and rollout strategies.
- Build and expose internal tooling and APIs (via PowerShell, Python + FastAPI or equivalents) to accelerate platform capabilities and developer productivity.
- Incorporate observability and visibility by integrating monitoring/CMDB tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, AppInsights).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SRE, CloudOps, Security, and IT to enforce resilient, compliant, and scalable infrastructure patterns.
- Lead incident response, technical root cause analysis, and continuous improvements to pipeline stability and rollback mechanisms.
- Champion reusable toolkits and DevOps frameworks that promote consistency, speed, and reliability across global engineering teams.
