Job Summary:
nInvest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.

nKey Responsibilities (List key responsibilities and tasks) :

n1. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
nLead the preparation and management of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
nEnsure financial plans are aligned with organizational objectives, strategic priorities, and operational goals.
nMonitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions where required.
n

n2. Financial Reporting
nOversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
nEnsure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
nProvide timely financial insights and analysis to support management decision-making.

n3. Financial Audit & Compliance
nConduct or coordinate financial audits to ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
nAddress audit observations and ensure implementation of corrective actions and improvements.
n

n4. Internal Controls & Risk Management
nWork closely with internal teams to design, implement, and maintain robust financial controls.
nIdentify financial risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures and governance practices are in place.
n

n5. Regulatory Awareness & Best Practices
nStay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and financial governance frameworks.
nProvide guidance on adopting best practices in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
