Description The Principal Engineer – Policy & VPE is responsible for end-to-end system architecture, design, and technical leadership for Policy Control and Voice Policy Engine solutions. The role requires deep expertise in telecom signaling, voice call flows, and real-time policy enforcement, along with modern cloud-native telecom architecture. Key Responsibilities
Must-have skills Telecom & Policy Domain
•Strong knowledge of mobility, call management, and session management
• Deep understanding of voice and signaling-based policy enforcement
• Solid understanding of telecom evolution from 2 G to 5 G
System & Architecture Expertise
• Proven experience designing large-scale, distributed telecom systems
• Robust background in high availability, failover, and latency-sensitive designs




Cloud-Native Skills
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and microservices
• Strong networking fundamentals (IP routing, load balancing, firewalls)
Work Experience:
• 12+ years of experience in telecom system engineering, product development, or deployments
• Experience working with Tier-1 telecom operators preferred
Valuable-to-have skills• Ownership of mission-critical policy and voice platforms
• Work on cutting-edge 5 G and cloud-native telecom solutions
• High-visibility role influencing long-term product architecture
