Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Executive who can identify, engage and convert potential merchants and business partners, particularly across high-risk industries.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, robust sales acumen, and a proactive approach to lead generation and client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, LinkedIn, email outreach, referrals, and other channels.
Identify and target potential high-risk merchants and businesses requiring payment processing solutions.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and prospects.
Understand merchant requirements related to payment gateways, payment processing, acquiring, and payment orchestration.
Present Money EU’s payment solutions and value proposition to prospective clients.
Handle the sales process from lead generation → qualification → negotiation → conversion → onboarding.
Build robust and long-term relationships with merchants, partners, and business stakeholders.
Conduct regular follow-ups and effectively move prospects through the sales funnel.
Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Operations and Payments teams to facilitate smooth merchant onboarding.
Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and developments within the global payments and high-risk payments industry.
Achieve defined sales, revenue, and business acquisition targets.
Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, follow-ups and opportunities in the CRM.
