Job Description
The Database Engineer plays a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems that support T-Mobiles large-scale applications and analytics. This position drives the modernization of database platforms, adoption of cloud-native data technologies, and continuous improvement of performance, reliability, and automation across mission-critical systems.
nYou will collaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance database solutions that align with business and technical objectives. The role combines solid database engineering expertise with strategic thinking and hands-on technical execution.
nWhat Youll Do:

- Design, implement and provide database enterprise-grade database architectures for transactional and analytical workloads.n
- Support / Automate database provisioning, schema management, patching, config management and upgrades through CI/CD pipelines for both, on-prem and Cloud native database.n
- Support cloud database platforms (e.g., MongoDB Atlas. AWS:



DocumentDB, Azure:MongoDB, Managed instances).n
- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting for database performance and reliability.n
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and backup/recovery standards.n
- Partner with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated data solutions.n
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex database issues.n
- Participate in 24/7 on call Support.n

nWhat Youll Bring:

- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.n
- 4+ years of experience in database engineering, development, or administration.n
- Expertise in MongoDB full Lifecycle support.n
- Strong understanding of data modeling, indexing, replication, sharding, and partitioning.n
- Hands-on experience with cloud database services (AWS, Azure).n
