Role Overview
We are looking for a Data QA Tester with strong fundamentals in ETL, Data Warehousing, and BI testing. The role focuses on executing data validation, ensuring data quality, and supporting automation and cloud-based testing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Data / ETL / BI Testing Strong hands-on experience in SQL (mandatory) Good understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehousing concepts Exposure to BI testing (Power BI / Tableau) Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) Core Responsibilities
Understand business requirements, data models, and mappings Create and execute test cases for ETL and data pipelines Perform data validation using SQL queries Validate BI reports and dashboards against source data Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems Test data across structured and semi-structured formats Identify, log,
and track defects; support resolution with dev teams Participate in SIT cycles and testing activities Support automation initiatives (Python or tools) where applicable Skills & Expertise
Strong in: SQL querying and data validation ETL & Data Warehousing concepts (Facts, Dimensions, Schemas) Working knowledge of: Data integration across multiple systems Basic cloud data environments Exposure to: Python (for validation or basic automation support) Modern platforms (Databricks / Snowflake / Big Query / MS Fabric – awareness level) Good analytical and communication skills Expectation from Role
