Area Sales Manager General Trade (ASM-GT) | FMCG | New Launch

Location: Nagpur (Handling Vidarbha Region)

/n

Experience: Minimum 7 -10 Years as ASM in entire Vidarbha

/n

Industry: FMCG

/n

CTC: Maximum gross up to 9 LPA + DA

/n

Roles & Responsibilities

/n

/n
- Lead the successful launch of recent FMCG products across Vidarbha.
/n
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual primary and secondary sales targets.
/n
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors to strengthen the distribution network.
/n
- Increase numeric distribution, outlet coverage, and market penetration.
/n
- Drive retailer activation, merchandising, and in-store visibility.
/n
- Lead and mentor Sales Officers/TSIs to improve market execution and productivity.
/n
- Execute trade schemes, promotional activities, and sales initiatives.
/n
- Monitor stock availability, distributor ROI, and collection efficiency.
/n
- Conduct regular market visits to identify growth opportunities and monitor competition.
/n
- Build strong relationships with distributors,



wholesalers, and retailers.
/n

Desired Candidate Profile

/n

/n
- Graduate in any discipline.
/n
- Minimum 5-10 years of FMCG sales experience in the General Trade channel.
/n
- Minimum 2 years of team handling experience as ASM or equivalent.
/n
- Strong exposure to distributor appointment and market expansion.
/n
- Experience handling the Vidarbha market is mandatory.
/n
- Exposure to new product launches will be an added advantage.
/n
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
/n
- Willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
/n

Preferred Locations

/n

Candidates currently handling or having experience in Nagpur, Amravati, Akola, Chandrapur, Wardha, Yavatmal, Gondia, Bhandara, Gadchiroli, Washim, or Buldhana will be preferred.
